Where's Waldo, Blogging Style

It seems that I have A LOT of guest posts scheduled all at once.  It might just be like playing "Where's Waldo?" to see if you can track me across the blogisphere.  In the next few weeks, I will be taking a few trips to some of my buddies' blogs.  I hope you will come stop by and say hello!

So in case you need some clues to find me in the past week, here we go!

On Monday, I did a round-up of some of my favorite ideas for kids at Mom Endeavors.

On Wednesday, I showed off my nephew's tuxedo onesie over at The Scrap Shoppe during Michele's maternity leave.  Is my nephew a handsome little guy or what?!

Today, I am thrilled to be posting at Brown Paper Packages.  Kierste is hosting a fabulous series called "A Place For Everything." I am showing my book organization overhaul.  This project was a doozie!  Come and check it out!

Have a great weekend, my friends!

  7. I really loved the book organization idea -I've been trying to figure out how to organize the kids books but just kept coming up blank (or overthinking everything) I have one question - you mentioned that you labled soft cover, hard cover and board books differantly so they each had their own color - I tried squinty at the pictures of the shelves to figure out what that ment but I don't get it . . (maybe I'm slow LOL) Didn't you just put them all by author or did board books all get one color of sticker?

  8. I'm visiting from your Brown Paper Packages post. I love the simplicity of your system...and think I may have to do the same thing with my classroom picture books and something similar with my novels (which are currently being used...grade 6/7 this year). I wanted to stop by and share a site...have you heard of Library Thing? Online catalogue for your books so you'll have them easily accessible as long as you have internet. It's my summer project...because I have more than once purchased a book forgetting I already own it! :S

  9. I have questions too about your great book organizing system. Which program did you use to catalog all your books? How many different colors of dots were you able to find? Did you put any books cataloged by theme (like Christmas) or just by author?
