Sunday Snippets: All About Paradise

Maui, Wowie!
That's all I can say about our recent trip to Hawaii.
Even Little Man learned this catch phrase of our vacation.

We definitely needed a family retreat, and I can't think of a more lovely setting...
It was simply paradise!

I am missing Maui, so come along and let me share a bit of Hawaii with you!
I got to see Little Man set foot on the sand for the very first time.

And dig, dig, dig in it.  By the way, I think sand toys are the best investment I made for this vacay!

Before we worked up the courage to swim in the water, Little Man was swimming in the sand!

I think Little Man even found his first love on the beach.  We are STILL talking about this curly-haired beauty in our house.

We had the chance to experience the cold of Maui's mountains and the warmth of Maui's sunny beaches. One day, we ventured to the top of Maui's volcano, Halekala.

An by sunset, we were back on the warm, sunny beaches.  Both sides of Maui were simply stunning!

The best part of the whole trip was watching my Little Man come alive.  He came out of his shell.  He was bold. Brave. Ready to take on the world!
He's covered in sand, but he's still my little goof!

By the way, I am still dreaming of the food we ate there...

I am still getting my body back on Hawaii time.
And for the moment, I'm still ignoring the Mount Everest of laundry.

But right now...
I am just going to keep dreaming of Maui!
Who wants to go back with me???

Coming up this week, you can expect:
* Ideas for a monster play date
* A seriously FANTASTIC giveaway that you are going to LOVE!
* Introduction of a FUN summer series

  8. I love Hawaii! I went to Waikiki Beach, Oahu a couple of years ago and fell in love with the tropical island! If anyone reads this, can anyone give me tips on how to post my pictures so beautifully like you do in this post? I'm new to all of this stuff and am such a beginner. I pretty much upload my photos in a straight boring line and that's all I can do. Help? :)

P.S. Love reading your blog! :)
