Hello all!!  I am Angie from The Country Chic Cottage and I am THRILLED to be here on Oopsey Daisy!  Y'all are welcome to visit the cottage anytime!  Crafting, transformations, decorating, tutorials...all while on a tight budget!

The Country Chic Cottage

Okay I must admit I love maps!  I framed some a few weeks back.
Swoon!  I also have them in my etsy shop.  I decided to break out the maps and the mod podge!
Yep I am decorating that often-forgotten area above my door!  For me maps and arrows just go together like peas and carrots....  :)  So get you some maps and a scrap piece of wood from a project that did not work.  (Surely y'all have those too!)  Oh and an arrow cut from card stock.
I cut my maps into pieces and mod podged them onto the wood.
After that dried I added my arrow.
Then sand all of your edges to remove any excess paper.
I just set mine on that little ledge we all have above our doors.
Why do I always forget about that area??  Well forgotten no more!
Y'all be sure to stop by and see some of my other projects.  You don't want to miss my NO SEW Sweater Sleeve Pumpkins!
Many thanks to Alison for letting me guest post today!  :)  It has been tons of fun!!  I heart Oopsey Daisy and it is an honor to be here!  Y'all stop on by the cottage, take your shoes off, and stay a while!

  1. The idea of Mod Podge and maps together sounds perfect to me! Such a cute sign!
