This is what I've been munching on all week long.
I already have a s'more obsession. I have a very precise method for melting the chocolate and slow-roasting my marshmallow so it doesn't burn. The melted chocolate really is the key--at least according to me!!
But skip the campfire, and you can still enjoy these soft, yummy, chewy treats. One of my favorite snacks. Ever. I think I've gained weight just since I made this treat. (But totally worth it!)
Golden Graham S’mores
¾ c. light corn syrup
3 T. butter
1 pkg milk chocolate morsels
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. Golden Graham cereal (9 cups)
3 c. miniature marshmallows
Grease 9 x 13 pan. Heat syrup, butter, and morsels to boiling, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal in bowl, toss until coated. Fold in marshmallows 1 cup at a time. Press into pan with buttered back of spoon. Let stand 1 hour. Cut into 2-inch squares. Store at room temperature.
Just take a look at this finished product:

ReplyDeleteYummy! Golden Grahams are my favorites, but I usually end up mixing them with other cereal and covering them with sugar goodness (like this recipe on my blog). I can't wait to try them with chocolatey goodness!
