Mr. Potato Head

We made it back into town yesterday, and I am still wrestling mountains of laundry.  But I wanted to give a quick sneak peak on the latest quiet book page I finished.

Without any further ado, I would like to introduce you to Mr. Potato Head!
Isn't he cute?!  All of his accessories are fastened on with velcro.  Many quiet books have a "dress me" page.  I decided to do Mr. Potato Head instead.  I only sewed on his body and arms.  So when he's bare and naked, he looks like this:
On the page next to the spud, I will sew a little pocket to put all of the accessories to be interchanged.  Of course I had to do a Mrs. Potato Head also.  Check out this hot potato:
Do you think I went overboard on her lips?!  I like it!!

Happy Monday!

  22. Thanks for linking up to Tot Tuesdays. I've been working on one of these for Kai. My mom sent me one from Canada but the package never came. Sooo...since we are working on learning body parts I thought I'd do this instead. But yours is way nicer. I made mine without velcro & a gluegun! HAHA ;)
