Little Man had never experienced play dough until a week or two ago! I wanted him to enjoy his first experience playing with play dough, but I was also concerned about the good possibility that he would eat it. The solution was easy: Edible playdough, of course!!
I used the amazing Brown Paper Packages' recipe found here. We had plenty of leftovers, so I just store it in the fridge in a plastic bag. We have been playing with it weekly!
And yes, Little Man quickly realized it was edible!! I must say that it is quite tasty! I don't mind munching on it myself! We mixed in some goldfish, chocolate chips, and animal crackers. He had a ball!! We have a Playdough hamburger factory that we were dying to try out, too. (I think my husband enjoyed that even more than Little Man!)
Have a happy day!
PS I also just stumbled upon My Little Gems' Kool-Aid playdough recipe, found here. So many yummy possibilities!
Great idea and cute pictures! You have a new follower! Come and visit Mama's Little Chick.
